Taking Two or More Over-the-Counter Medications at Once
So many medications are now available as Over-the-Counter for anyone to buy when we think we need them. Before taking Over-the-Counter medications with your present prescriptions or with other Over-the-Counter medications, look at the ingredients of each. You may find the name written as a brand name, like Tylenol® or as a generic name, acetaminophen. Both names are the same medication. Advil®, Motrin® and ibuprofen are all the same medication. Medical Advisor Concierge can help you understand what you are taking or want to take to review any possible issues like interactions or side effects and prevent taking higher than recommended amounts accidentally.
